Catering, Bar, and Desserts
You are welcome to select whatever catering/food service option you would like for your wedding, but they must be approved by The Honey Farm at least 60 days before your wedding.
After many years in the event business and seeing different caterers, restaurants, etc. in action, these are the food service companies that consistently provide quality food, good service, and affordable options along with a variety of upgrades, if desired.
Many of these catering companies also provide bartenders saving you the time and hassle of finding a separate bartending company.
Important Catering Info:
Caterers and bartenders must be licensed and insured and proof of such must be provided by your 30 day meeting.
There is NO KITCHEN at The Honey Farm; only a staging area is provided. Food should be prepared off site and brought in for direct serving to your guests. Catering and Cake/Dessert Vendors are permitted to bring items needing refrigeration the day of the event only. The caterers listed below have all worked at the farm many times and know how to prepare.
There is no potable water. Your caterer and bartenders will have to bring in their own potable water and ice.
Catering Recommendations
Shopping for a caterer can be confusing, especially knowing what a B-I-G role it plays in your day. Understanding what services come with catering often causes the most confusion and makes the biggest difference in pricing. We only allow full-service caterers (no drop-and-go catering) because they make the wedding day so much more enjoyable for you and your guests. Full-service caterers provide event staffing, do buffet setup, handle plates/flatware/cups, bus tables, and so much more. Trust us, you don’t want to work your own reception!
Always ask the caterer to explain their services to you and that it’s clearly laid out in your contract with them.

You do not have to approve your dessert provider with us, just your caterer. We usually leave wedding cakes in the prep room refrigerator until it’s time to cut the cake.
We do not cut cake; however, most caterers will if you let them know in your final details meeting with them.
